Our Team
The team that makes up Quantum Tribe Laboratories within the Second Life environment is made up of men and women from around the physical world, each possessing intimate knowledge of specific areas within the virtual realm. We work together at our laboratories, experimenting and finding new applications within a whole new world. Our real world experience includes project management, systems engineering, executive leadership, information technology and software development, audio and video production, event catering, social services and quality control just to name a few.
Our Open Source, Radically Transparent philosophy allows free exchange of information including people from varied backgrounds and physical locations which facilitates knowledge and understanding of the unique culture within the metaverse and the desires of the residents. This allows us to harness the true power of this new medium and is what sets us apart from the competition.
QTLABS APOGEE
LYSANDER LEMURIA
Lysander has been an immense help in forming and operating our Second Life endeavors from the beginning. The most visible of Lysanders skills is his almost nightly DJ set in which he experiments with music, sound and spoken word to convey a positive experience for all in attendance. His choice of songs from eclectic electronic to classic rock is a source of inspiration for many of our current and past event specialist. Although this is his most visible role, he also assists tirelessly with most all of our projects and promoting our services to everyone he meets.
In his real life, Lysander is an information technology expert with skills ranging from server administration and web site development. His excellent communication and leadership skills have made him one of the most valuable team members. We are all glad that Lysander Lemuria is part of the Quantum Tribe Laboratories team.
BELLA DUTTON
Bella Dutton has been an integral member of Quantum Tribe Laboratories form near the beginning of its Second Life existence. She met QTLabs Apogee at the original Club in the Clouds and has just taken off from there. Her creation of Bella Dutton Designs has led her to become a premier designer in the metaverse which has led her to other ventures such as working with the Space Junkies, a SL crossover band from Australia. She has been an immense help to many avatars and her ability to network with people is almost psychic.
ZAK ZAMIN
Zak Zamin is one of the original investors in QTLabs and has been a land owner in Second Life also. His original purchase of land has been expanded by purchasing an adjoining lot which he has since developed with a range of exciting features.
His land in Quantum Acres has provided the sim with its first sky rise apartment complex named Zak Towers. The tower has seven floors each of these being one apartment in itself. The configuration of the apartments has been created to be left up to the renter provided the exterior conforms to the other units.
Zak has played a major role in providing entertainment to one of the events held at Quantum Fields during a festival. He has helped to bring traffic to the sim by adding individuals to the Quantum Tribe Group. He has increased the population with relatives and friends and has also allowed several homeless individuals to use his property until a more permanent home comes along. Zak is very committed to the QTLabs group and a great asset to the team.
KISUNE LIAN
Kisune has been providing design and building of all types of Second Life buildings, furnishings, landscaping, and terraforming for the last seven months. She considers pedestrian and vehicular movement, meditation and group gathering areas, their surroundings and interactions in her master planning.
Kisune is also responsible for the design and build of a number of items used within SL such as guitars, vehicles, and other interactive devices. Nearly everything on the island of Quantum Fields and Quantum Acres has felt Kisune’s masterful touch.
Kisune is a highly respected member of AVIE Services and has made and extremely valuable contribution to the team using her skills in building and planning.
She can be found at the island playing with her toys, building, or even Dj’ing.
Kisune also draws and has her own little art gallery within the store she manages.
GROOVEBUNNY SHABAZZ
Groovebunny has many roles within AVIE Services and has proved a very useful part of the team. She is a hostess for QTLabs as well as working in Public Relations and Business Development.
Groovebunny has a wide range of skills and is very talented in all she attempts. Her experience includes skills in event planning, promotions, architecture, creating custom textures and custom Avatar creation. Groovebunny is also skilled in hostessing, custom design of a wide variety including landscaping with pools and ponds, design and build of residence and rentals and even custom design and build of furniture and home accessories. She also creates custom gestures in Second Life and is very talented in interior decorating as well as creating sculpture and original art.
She is a much respected part of the AVIE Services team and in addition to the skills above Groovebunny also designs and creates women’s hair, boots, jewelry and hair accessories.
NTROPY SELLERS
NTropy came to QTLabs the first night she was in Second Life and within a few weeks Lysander allowed her to DJ for the club. With lots of help and advice from Lysander, NTropy has become a fantastic DJ and now plays at Quantum Fields twice a week. NTropy’s Sunday morning DJ set generally comprises a slightly mellower mix than her usual routine but is one that is highly enjoyable by both NTropy herself and all the people that tune in. The Tuesday evening show the other set DJ NTropy has taken on and she loves to help everyone get through the week by providing an exciting time for all.
Building is another skill NTropy offers to AVIE Services and although still learning somewhat is very talented. Creative is one of the aspects NTropy enjoys with building in Second Life. NTropy is already taking on leadership roles for AVIE Services with the rebuild of the Quantum Fields sim and is proving to be an exceptional asset to the team.
WEN GRIAN
Wen has been scripting and building her own things shortly after starting in Second Life. With over 15 years of experience as a programmer in the real world Wen has been having fun developing the scripts in Second Life.
Wen also has skills in creating textures and building in Second Life. She is very skilled in working with computers and having such extensive experience in both the real world and Second Life make her a very valuable member of the AVIE Services team.
POPPYTAT SODWIND
Poppytat has provided AVIE Services with her extensive skills in Second Life building as well as experience in land editing. She also has some knowledge of editing scripts within Second Life and thus is a very talented member of the AVIE Services team.
