Our experience within the virtual realm has grown far beyond the original expectations and our research has revealed both numerous insights as well as well as infinite questions. While the membership of Quantum Tribe laboratories within Second Life has remained steady at around 950 - 1000 members, we have increased in quality. Our Quantum Fields sim has been remodeled and has been quite an active place since. The entire sim was planned and created by members of Quantum Tribe Laboratories supported by QTLabs Inc. AVIE Services and was designed to take advantage of the new Windlight viewer. The inclusion of lots of water space allows for wonderful panoramic views of the sunrise and sunsets as well as underwater exploration of several very interesting areas. Every day and night you will find the most friendly people in SL and the best music from around the world. I have not even mentioned the shops, mall, apartments and our sponsor the Saturn Grill.

Our most significant find to date is the importance of community within the 3D virtual world and how real people are involved and need to be meaningfully engaged. Many companies and individuals have come and gone, tried several different business models and products. We have continued in what we believe in all along and that is providing a great, safe, interesting place for people to live, shop and be entertained. For over a year Quantum Fields has been an exciting venue for live musicians, dj’s, artists and designers as well as helpful people who are willing to assist others however they can.

We have assisted numerous individuals begin successful careers within the metaverse and many of our members have been instrumental in other virtual world success stories such as our own Bella Dutton and the SL band Space Junky. Recent negotiations between QTLabs Inc. and Arts Origin have validated our philosophy and will offer a great platform to our show the world our skills. Our success has been watching this wonderful world develop around us and know that we are helping to make it a positive place to be. One sign of this accomplishment is the return of people who visited us in the beginning of their second lives and look around in amazement that the community they helped start has grown as it has. We have grown into a family which is made up of real people from around the physical world, of all walks of life and incredibly varied backgrounds. Unfortunately, we have also seen a few go on to another place forever but are left with the comfort of knowing that their last experiences here were positive indeed.

Truthfully, our endeavors here in the virtual world began in the name of commerce, technology and marketing; it has become quite evident that friendship, companionship, love and support are very important aspects. Our term for this is Positive Quantum Energy(tm) and has been found to be an important part of creating an immersive experience in the metaverse. We must not overlook the feelings, emotions and accomplishments of people, but embrace them and harness the creative energies that flow. Actually this should not be all that amazing since it is really the foundation that makes great communities and creates great accomplishments. We have succeeded in what we set out to learn and are now applying that knowledge in unforseen ways. I am proud to be a part of a wonderful group of people who consider me their family and look forward to a prosperous future for us all both in the metaverse and the universe.
